Walking and waving

The video is about two weeks old, but here it is. Walking at 10.5 months. Slow down, crazy kid!

This is one of his favorite things to do right now. Push something, turn it, push it again. It's a great game, really.

10 months!

Harrison is 10 months!!

Some things he loves to do:
-waving
-pushing toys while walking
-standing by himself
-cuddling
-eating all the food
-running with mama
-reading books with Miles
-playing with daddy

10 month pictures don't work well with a very mobile baby.

  

Every time I said "cheese" he would smash his face up against my cheek. It was adorable.

Miles was very excited about our snow last weekend.

Everybody cheered for me during the Seattle Marathon. Harrison was all bundled up on daddy.

 This was around 8 miles.

 Finished in 4:00:17!!

They played at the toddler gym while I was at work.

Crawling

Harrison crawled today. Over and over again! It's officially time to babyproof.

I think he waited to crawl until today, just for me. I was gone from 7:30 am until 9:00 pm yesterday because I went to a continuing education class after work. I didn't see the kids at all! Harrison must have known that I missed him and Miles, so he wanted to make today extra special for me after work.

Fair

We went to the Washington State Fair twice last month. Miles had a blast on the rides. He even did the Tilt a Whirl with me!

8 months!

Harrison is 8 months!

He loves his big brother

Harrison enjoys moving, spending time on his knees, pulling up on everything, and standing

He loves all the food, especially when it's from our plates. His favorites are bananas, greek yogurt, spaghetti, garlic cheese bread, pork roast, bbq baked beans, grapes, peas, and many different flavors of squeeze pouches. Spaghetti and grilled cheese pictures:

Harrison enjoys playing with books and balls, knocking down towers of blocks, driving Miles's cars, making music on his toy keyboard, shaking and/or banging things together, and bouncing.

Miles quote

As I was helping Miles get ready for bed, I asked him why he's so oddly shaped because we were struggling with his pajamas. 

He replied, very matter of factly, "Because I sit on a triangle at school."

Of course, why didn't I think of that?!

Big day

Miles started preschool today!

 

His favorite parts of the day were playing on the playground and going down the big bumpy slide, playing with cars with his classmates, and eating four(!) helpings of goldfish at snack time. I think it was a good day for him.

Harrison decided to get ready to crawl tonight. He wasn't happy about it at all, but it looks like he's ready to take off!
