6 months!

Harrison is 6 months old! 

27 inches

17.5 pounds

He is getting the hang of eating. We're trying Baby Led Weaning instead of purees. So far, he has enjoyed several different fruits and vegetables. He tried strawberries today and loved them too.

 

He has quite a little personality. He loves "talking" and screeching, especially at Miles. 

 Harrison had his 6 month shots today and we played afterward. Here's his first time in the swing. He loved it!

  

He loves sitting all the time. He has pretty good sitting balance already.

    

Here he is helping me build a shelf.

He loves being worn all the time.

 

He also enjoys riding in the stroller when I run.

 

Miles still loves running with me too. We got up early this morning to run together.

We went to the zoo last weekend again. The boys had fun again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The best part of my day is when they play together.

Sitting

Harrison sits!

It only lasted a minute, but he's already sitting up. Gotta keep up with that big brother.

5 months!

Harrison is 5 months!

His favorite things:
-standing
-jumping
-rolling
-chewing on everything (he's getting his bottom two teeth right now)
-yelling
-grabbing everything
-giving "kisses" (a.k.a. trying to eat your face)

He had fun on the 4th yesterday and was very interested in watching fireworks way past his bedtime! I had him wrapped up on me and he was trying to turn around and upside down until I finally turned so that he could see them too. Then he was happy and fell asleep watching!

After missing his first two rolls, we finally caught him in the act. Now that's all he wants to do! He rolls from back to belly and then gets frustrated because he hasn't quite mastered belly to back. He is also trying to sit on his own!

It's so fun to hear him try to "talk" to Miles. He is so in love with his big brother. Miles loves Harrison too. I got some of their fun on video.

Rolling

Harrison rolled from tummy to back for the first time yesterday.
Unfortunately, we missed it.
I left him on his tummy in the living room while I was helping Miles get ready for bed, and came back out to check on him a minute later to find him on  his back. 
Oops. I'll catch the next milestone, Harrison!

We had fun cleaning out the storage closet on our balcony yesterday.

   

 

Harrison loves watching Miles. He wanted me to take a picture of him saying "cheetos"

He insisted on sending a picture to Uncle Spencer. I couldn't say no!

Harrison's giggles are the best. Listen carefully for Miles at the end. Jared and I couldn't stop laughing about the timing...

So sweet

He had way too much fun and passed out on the couch before bedtime.
