Miles quote

As I was helping Miles get ready for bed, I asked him why he's so oddly shaped because we were struggling with his pajamas. 

He replied, very matter of factly, "Because I sit on a triangle at school."

Of course, why didn't I think of that?!

Big day

Miles started preschool today!

 

His favorite parts of the day were playing on the playground and going down the big bumpy slide, playing with cars with his classmates, and eating four(!) helpings of goldfish at snack time. I think it was a good day for him.

Harrison decided to get ready to crawl tonight. He wasn't happy about it at all, but it looks like he's ready to take off!

7 months!

Harrison is 7 months!

He loves:
-sitting
-playing on  his tummy
-toys he can shake or bang together
-toys that make noise
-watching Miles and the cats
-grabbing everything
-yelling and talking
-feeding himself
-cuddling
-sleeping

Milestones:
-he may have said "mama" a few times already. It seems early, but he looked right at me and said it...
-he's starting to rock when he's up on his knees. No crawling yet, and that's ok with me!

Food:
He's eating such a variety of food already. Baby led weaning is wonderful for that. Some foods he has eaten recently include:
-chicken
-lamb
-peaches
-grapes
-mango
-blueberries
-blackberries
-strawberries
-green beans
-carrots
-red pepper
-water chestnuts
-peas
-squash
-plums
and much more
